Basketcase has been on the Dunedin live music scene so long, it is pretty much an institution! While the members have changed over the years, one man stands above the rest (because he’s about 6’ 2”) and that is Chris Klemick, drummer extraordinaire.  Chris is a founding member of Basketcase, and his wife, Wendy, was the vocalist for a large part of that time.  More recently Nadina has taken over that role, but Wendy still guest stars occasionally, especially at the bigger gigs like bike rallies.

Matt has also been in the band for quite some years now (as have many of his guitars).  He is another founding member of the band, having been with Basketcase now for 17 years.

Nadina has played with other Dunedin bands, duets, trios and has a cheeky side that really gets a crowd going.  Also, being the only girl in the band, she gets away with giving the boys what for when required.

Paul is the most recent member of the band, having joined in 2017.  He is a consummate professional, playing with bands like Jeez George, Clever Monkeys and Monkey Business. He also was an original member of Basketcase before moving to Australia for a time.
